Speed dial 3 for Auntie 1!
Auntie Kelsey: Hello?
Nemesia: Abgadoobladamanafa!
Auntie Kelsey: Oh! Hello Nemesia!
Nemesia: Feemopkoolamanatapha!
Auntie Kelsey: I see. And how do you--
Nemesia hangs up.
Auntie Kelsey resumes eating lunch.
Phone rings again.
Auntie Kelsey: Hello?
Nemesia:Bleebeemomkatooey!
Auntie Kelsey: Hi again, Nemesia!
Nemesia: Hi.
Auntie Kelsey: Hi!
Nemesia: Hiiiiiii.
Auntie Kelsey. HI.
In background, Mommy says, "Nemesia, who are you talking to?" Fumbling with the phone can be heard.
Nemesia's Mother: Um, hello?
Auntie Kelsey: Hi!
Nemesia's Mother: Sorry Nemesia called! I was wondering why she was talking so much...
Auntie Kelsey: *giggles* It's okay. We had an interesting conversation. Bye!
Nemesia's Mother: Bye!

Body Art
Nemesia: Relax, Mother, it's just bath-tub crayon.
Mommy: Now don't you take that tone with me young lady...
Nemesia: I mean, look Mommy! I colored on myself!
Nemesia: Y'know, as much as I love the green, this red would look lovely on my lips...

Flash-tacular fun!
A fun day with cousins is a day of excitement!

That's Brooke. She's wondering how to get past that ingenious gate that her daddy built out of pvc pipes and wood. I tried to tell her that upstairs isn't that fantastic, but she told me that it was more about the challenge. Bah.
Oh! Oh! Lola played hide-and-seek with Justin, Brooke, Ashley, and me. It was so much fun! We were shrieking with laughter. *teehee!* Justin is so smart. He hid under the ottoman. What a novel idea! I didn't want to steal his idea, though, so I tried it out under the daybed, and voila! There I am, all squished, and making nice with the dust bunnies.
Brooke rode on my elephant with me. His name is Fitz, and he's very docile. Sometimes Fitz and I go on walks; I pull him by the umbrella and he slides along. Yay for purple elephants!

Ashley and I shared a wonderful hug. In fact, everyone had a hug-fest! Ashley and Brooke went around to everyone and gave tons of hugs. There was just too much love to keep to one's self.
But, but, I want to help!
Not all models are super-thin.
New word: breakable.

Hey there! Guess why I'm smiling? Because I'm excited! Today is the day! That's right: we're going to decorate our Christmas tree! I'm even wearing my festive candycane shirt.
What's this? A Dora the Explorer ornament? How fabulous!
Hmm. I don't know what to do with this ball. I'd better decide quick, because the Aunties keep telling me that all of these things, especially the pretty, shiny ones, are "breakable". What's that supposed to mean? All I know is that I can't hold the breakable ones, and that makes me sad.
Oh, dang it! (<-- I said dang, not that other word.) I just couldn't decide what to do with this ball, and now Mommy is using that "breakable" word again. Hmph.
Wait, I have an idea. Perhaps if I flash my bestest, brightest smile, she'll let me keep it.
*Yawn* The tree is trimmed, the lights are up, and the ornaments that broke were all Auntie 1's fault. (Really, it's true! I swear!) Now all that's missing are the presents to go under the tree!
Me and Auntie Kelsey amidst Christmas baubles and branches.
Auntie 1, Auntie 2, Elmo, Mommy, and Sophie!

Oh, I am soooo sleepy. Mommy and I flew to California today from Minnesota. It was boring, except for Elmo and Sophie. They're my special friends. Elmo is famous! He's on television and everything. Sophie is not so famous, but she has a lot of sisters and cousins at the Ikea store. We played together on the plane in the empty seat next to Mommy.
When we arrived, I was really excited in my head, but I couldn't make my arms flail up and down, and I couldn't dance enthusiastically no matter how hard I tried because I was just too tired. Perhaps I shall dance tomorrow.
Until then, goodnight!

The Highchair
Hello, hello. Look at me! I'm sitting in an very historic highchair of great sentimental value: Before I sat in it's worn but cozy seat, it was the mini-throne of the Fickle boys! That's right, my Daddy grew up in this chair, and for a little while I got to enjoy it too. What a privalege!
*Gasp* Would you look at that! This panel-thingy moves!
Ah ha! Peek-a-boo!
