the Nausa Art Museum

It's not easy to walk trying to hold on to poky sticks, believe me. The couch at home is so much squishier!

Look! We're like birdies in a nest! I get to be the BABY bird. (Grandma says that someone made these sculptures by gathering all the twigs and branches in order to weave them together! Ah-mazing!)

Mom, me, and Grandma! What a fun place this is with the people I absolutely love!

Water savvy.

This is Grandma putting me in the pool for the first time. Now I've been in the sink, the bathrub, the ocean, and now a pool! (And no, that brown thing floating in the water beside me is NOT mine! Its a leaf!!!)

This is me swimming! I'm so multi-talented. Excellent photograph courtesy of my Grandma and Granddad! I loved visiting them over the summer!

learning to appreciate type

Look! That's me with my Daddy. He's tech-no-logic-al-ly sav-vy, so that's how we bond. ;)

p.s. Note my oh-so-fabulous Batman watch courtesy of Mommy! It flips open and shut!

Cheerio, darling!

Daddy is oh so proud of me because I am eating Cheerios now! And not those health-freak-immitation kind either; I 'm talking real, enriched-flour, chemically altered Cheerios. And frankly, I'm loving it! They're just so round and delightfully crunchy. How could I have lasted so long without them? By the way, I've also graduated to eating toast strips rather than squares, and I eat slices of pear instead of teeny tiny bits.

Today was such a busy day with mommy! We went to a luncheon and there were all these nice, little old ladies who kept talking to me! I felt obligated to go around to each chair and extend my warmest "Hi!!" This earned me quite a few things to play with, which I generously passed on to others. So much fun!

We also visited Zack and Megan, since Megan is off of work today. I loved seeing Siren and Grimmers, especially since they remind me of my dearest Ni-Ni. *sighs wistfully* Throughout the day I brought presents to Grimmers, because he's so nice and fluffy. I don't know if he understood the concept though, since he left most of my gifts where I set them down... One never knows with cats.

Anyway, while we were there, I found myself in need of a different kind of transportation other than crawling (which has served me well for quite some time.) But you see, I needed to hold things in my hands, so during the course of the day, I took three "partial" steps. Mother got so excited about them, but I really don't see what the fuss is about. It's the natural progression of my physical abilities. However, she's a parent, so I musn't deny her the so-called "joys of parenthood."

Well, I really want to go play with Martha and my bunny friends, and I think I spotted something shiny on the carpet in the living room, so ta-ta for now!
