Es-ca-pe... it must be Italian!

Guess what I did?! WithOUT the help of my parents?! I PULLED MYSELF UP. That's right. I did it! I am now able to escape from my basket! Mwa ha ha! MWAHAHA!

Hm. I wonder why Mommy hasn't put me in there lately?

Yes. No. I mean, yes!

I know how to shake my head yes, and how to shake my head no! It's great, except that I keep forgetting which is which. Is side-to-side yes? Or no? Hmm... *practices shaking head* Ooh, I'm getting a little dizzy. >_<

Speaking of speaking...

Kids in general never want to go to sleep. Only old people willingly take naps. One example is Auntie Kelsey. She wants to take naps! Her mommy doesn't even have to ask her to! It's crazy. She said something about having too much homework, but I still don't understand her logic.

You can probably guess my opinion of naps. When I'm stuck in my crib because I'm supposedly tired, I like to talk to my friend Archibald. Now, please don't judge him just because he's a giraffe. He has feelings too, y'know. Even though we look different, Archibald and I have a lot in common. In fact, the other day we got onto the subject of music, and we realized that we both thoroughly enjoy Ella Fitzgerald! He even played a little ditty for me. Isn't that sweet?

Daddy says that I'm just like my mommy... I'll talk to anyone!

...taking Olivia's advice

Daddy gave me a valentine, and it had Olivia the pig on it! She said that accesorizing is better than excercising, and I totally agree. I love my new necklaces! Mommy said that they're called p-p-perrls. They're so shiny. Shiny shiny shin--- Oh, sorry about that. I get a little distracted when I'm wearing p-perrls.

Tummy Time!

When I was little, I absolutely hated tummy time. It was so boring, and I had to work so much harder to do anything of importance. However, that has all changed. Now, I absolutely love being on my belly! My range of motion has expanded, so I can reach things easier this way. As you can see in the above picture taken by my professional photographer, otherwise titled "Mommy," I can grab things like Mr. Winnie P. Bear, or shiny things that Mommy accidentally drops on the floor... *mischievous grin*

Oh! I can get on my hands and knees and "rev my engline." It makes toy-grabbing much easier.

in honor of my first Olympic Games!

Yay for those Greek people who decided to race each other for laurel wreaths! They rock! I mean, seriously, look at the phenomenon they've started. I learned a scandalous little tidbit about those ancient games! *hushed whisper* They actually did everything naked! Teehee!
Oh, and if you were wondering, I am chewing on my Olympic torch. It's delicious.

Toesucker!

Thumbs are so overrated. I got really tired of the same old taste in my mouth, so I decided to diversify! Thus, toesucking came into practice. Oh the yummy taste of my toes! So tart yet sweet, and squishy in my mouth.
Huzzah for the Era of the Toes!

I have added some more pictures to each month so be sure to check them out! As for their appearance I apologize in advance - I will straighten those that are sideways soon. Enjoy!

the Disco Ball!

I now wish that I could go back in time to... the seventies. What is my reason for this wish, no, need to go to the time of polyester and big hair?

Two simple words: disco ball.

Its tiny mirrors rock my world, reflecting all over the room! So many things to look at, I could spend days with my eyes wide open, staring.

Mommy says my love for shiny things comes from her side of the family, and I believe it! Auntie Kelsey has an odd obsession with her shiny charm bracelet, and Auntie Laina keeps her shinies in many many piggy banks.

All hail the disco ball.

Morning hair.

Happy February!!!

Getting ready to send off valentines to all of my not-so-secret admirers and loved ones! XOXOXOX!!!

p.s. That's Daddy's whir gun in the background. But don't tell him I called it that!

p.p.s. If your envelope should be a bit worn once you recieve it it may be because I helped Mommy lick/chew on them! (Sorry Uncle Ed. Yours took quite a licking...)
